The Marine Section

This section was constructed to display the most important items of Qatar's natural history .It has an extensive aquarium, natural Qatar pearls, shells, fossils, and the achievements of the medieval Arab navigation .

   H.H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani The Emir of Qatar inaugurated the marine Section of the Qatar National Museum on Saturday the 22nd of October1977 when His Highness was, Qatar's Heir Apparent.
